Majority of drains on Shortlands road have been blocked for several years and no attempts have been made to clean / clear them

  • Thanks for your patience with this issue, the gully has a stuck cover and will be released by a separate department - this kind of work is done in bulk and may take a while to resolve - once released, the asset will be cleaned.

  • The contractors have made a number of attempts to clean the gullies but were not completely successful due to cars being parked either too close or over them - they have been noted and will be added to a Forward Works Programme to be prioritised under the cyclical cleansing schedule. This report will now be closed
