Area of Japanese Knotweed

Reported via desktop in the Japanese Knotweed category anonymously at 19:56, Wednesday 24 April 2024

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5895703.

The photos show a Japanese Knotweed plant sticking out over the pavement opposite the trash screen in the River Quaggy. This one is obvious but there are many others of this invasive plant behind it in the wooded area running along Mottingham Lane. There are lots of dry stalks showing that it was there last year so it's only going to spread even more if nothing is done to stop it.
