Severe potholes

Reported via mobile in the Potholes category anonymously at 07:01, Tue 23 April 2024

Sent to Darlington Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5887279.

The small roads from Newton Aycliffe to A66 through Bishopton, encompassing roads such as Lodge Lane, Lime Lane etc. are horrendous for potholes. Yesterday whilst driving to work, car sharing with 2 others in my car, I hit a pothole so bad it popped my tyre and has scratched and bent my alloy wheel, costing me £120 for a new tyre so far. I may need extra work on the alloy but that’s yet to be seen. These potholes have been here for years and nothing seems to have improved.
