Dangerous path
Reported via mobile in the Path/Way misused by unlawful users category anonymously at 12:09, Sunday 21 April 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5880261.
Gawcombe bridleway, the whole length of the track. Previously reported in January by myself and another person who submitted photos in their report. Path is dangerous to horses, trip hazard and easily could break a leg. Path misused by vehicles in the winter. Path now dried up and extremely uneven. I attempted to ride it today, ended up riding in a gated field to avoid the Path but gave up after seeing the continued state of the Path. Land owner needs to address the mess. This bridleway is my local off road route. I've been road riding all winter and still can't access this Path, also means I can't access the bridleways to Icomb or church westcote which are off of this Gawcombe bridleway. My nearest off road route means I have to ride the B4450. Please can you update me as to what is happening as the other person who Previously reported this was told it was being investigated but had no update.
