Cows broken through to Council footpath and garden

Reported via iOS in the Rights of way category anonymously at 07:20, Sat 20 April 2024

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5877000.

I wrote, as Minstead Parish Council, to inform NFDC that Council fencing has been pushed down and is now lying broken on the ground enabling forest cattle to get into private land and damage gardens Our parishioners are concerned that no action has been made to repair this and we have now been told further damage has happened and private gardens are being effected by the cattle. It is the Council’s responsibility to maintain their fencing to prevent livestock entering private homes and they are likely to be liable with this damage especially as they have failed to respond to the information that has been provided to alert them. This needs to be dealt with now as a matter of emergency.
