Overgrown hedging at the bottom of St Catherines Way

Reported via desktop in the Non-highway trees category by Cllr Harry Davis at 18:53, Fri 19 April 2024

Sent to Fareham Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5876356.

I am concerned about the overgrown hedging outside the house at the junction between St Catherines Way and Cams Hill. I am not sure that the house is occupied, so it might be difficult to deal with this. But the hedging is now so overgrown that the corner has become a blind spot. It is a hazard for cars, cyclists and pedestrians. Drivers have to slow down almost to a halt to enable them to drive around the corner slowly. But not everyone does, and I am concerned that there will be an accident some time soon, when another driver, cyclist or pedestrian coming towards takes the corner quickly without realising how blind it is.

Is there any way of getting the hedging severely cut back?
