4 way traffic lights not working, kingsditch lane

Reported via desktop in the Light sensor is not detecting vehicles category by Callum H at 10:23, Thursday 18 April 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5869203.

There are sets of temporary traffic lights on kingsditch lane and I am not sure if they are working properly.

The queues they are causing are absolute chaos, traffic is backed up all the way down hyde lane towards Bishops Cleeve; and there are queues all the way to the top of princess elizabeth way. When I went through the lights this morning, they don't seem to be directing traffic in any way different to how the usual lights direct traffic, so the amount of traffic seems odd.

I am sure you will agree that this amount of traffic isn't sustainable and causes dangerous conditions on the roads.

How long are these temporary lights going to be in place for?

Also, can you send someone out to have a look and make sure that the timings on the lights are working correctly?

Thanks,

Callum
