Blocks the pavement

Reported back in February and the car still parks there daily. They park next to the post leaving no room to get past with a pram, forcing me to walk in the road. Daily on the school run 3.15pm

  • I’ve had the same problem in the past and the council aren’t interested but if you phone the police they will say it’s nothing to do with them. You tell them it’s a rule in the Highway Code and it’s a safety concern for us pedestrians which it is then they will ask you for a registration plate number and then they’ll contact the owner. Then if it happens again report it again and then they will get fined and can even have points added to licence at a minimum.
