This pothole has existed for over 20 years. To date it must have costs thousands and thousands of pounds for the multitude of bandaid fixes to it. The last decent repair, as usual was for the tourists for the Commonwealth games and that repair has lasted the longest. Now it is double the size it was before. Buses are being damaged, tenants are being disturbed when heavy vehicles pass over it, but you can put bets on if the Commonwealth games are intending to use it, they will fix it, again, at the expense of the ratepayers who LIVE here. Lets face it, Tourism is Ace in Glasgow, but profits from it never seems to improve the pavements, roads and property rates of the people who pay for it, and who live outside the areas where tourists visit. A Classic example, the thousands wasted on the fancy brick pavements around the Barras, which is half empty most weekends. but pavements further up the Gallowgate all patched and broken up, where the ratepayers live.
