Lady Drove, Downham Market. Roughly half way along Lady Drove and midway between Barroway Drove and Tile Farm.

A vehicle, (possibly an agricultural vehicle), has left the road and entered the field at a location that is not intended for such access. In so doing it has caused damage to the edge of the road surface, making it crumble at one of the locations where the road is already subsiding into the field, (see photos). This damage is not far from the 'bend in the road' warning sign.

Again, the usual standard reply from NCC Highways:

Your enquiry ENQ-699460-F9Q7G9 received on 18/04/2024 09:51:20 regarding Highways Maintenance: Highway Damage (excluding potholes) has been updated.

New Status: No action has been taken at this time but we will continue to monitor the problem -We have assessed that the defect does not currently meet our intervention criteria. We will continue to monitor as part of normal scheduled inspections.
