Parking bays need to be marked rather than drivers parking diagonally in, in 2 different directions or adjacent to the kirb and then being blocked in. By parking diagonally cars, such as the one in the photo, then block traffic from using that lane safely. Then, with cars parking illegally across the road it effectively becomes one lane with queuing traffic. At school times this problem is 10 fold.

Sent to Luton Borough Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5848276.
Drivers need to have clearly marked parking bays.
Equally drivers need to be made aware the CoOp has its own car park.

I have been contacted by the Council who agree action should and will be taken. However in terms of timescale this could be anytime within the next financial year.

The Council resurfaced the road and lay by but failed to paint parking bays when I last drove past.
Obviously don't talk to other departments

Still find selfish and dangerous parking taking place.
The council has its priorities wrong for sure

Absolute chaos still at school times.
Some vehicles being parked are commercial and their length takes up half a lane.
