Another load of sand tipped into the road and is blocking part of the highway on the bend. The rubbish from the builders is damaging the fence of number 135, as previously mentioned the resident is blind and is entitled to a duty of care from the council. When will you take some action?

There is now more rubbish and waste than ever before, discarded on the pedestrian path. If this is building material why can it not be left within the owners own property??

Please can something be done about this, it is getting out of hand. Building materials with sharp nails sticking out makes it unsafe for users of the path.

We walk past this ever increasing pile every week with our blind friend and her guide dog who live next to the alleyway. It is a dangerous obstacle encroaching on the foot way.
What was originally builders’ waste is now being added to with other rubbish as a convenient place to dump stuff.
Some of the rubbish can be seen leaning on the fence of number 135. Who will pay for any damage? This was reported nearly 5 months ago.

Sept 10th,. This rubbish is constantly being added to and has become a health and safety issue. the lady who lives at number 135 is blind and has a guide dog. firstly the rubbish is leaning against her fence and will eventually damage it and secondly she now is not able to walk safely on the path . Please fix this ASAP. This has been going on for months now.

Still no reply or action from the council ! If I was 6 months late in paying my council tax, I'd be taken to court. This ineptitude on behalf of the council is shameful.

How can the council say they are ‘ continuing to investigate ‘ ? How long does it take to investigate a large , dangerous pile of disgusting rubbish which is a health hazard to all us local residents and particularly to the blind lady living next door to it with her guide dog? Why can’t it be removed after over six months of being there? It’s a disgrace!

Please accept our apologies resolving this matter. The builder responsible for storing the waste has been located and spoken to and has advised that the final amount of waste will be removed by the end of the week. We will also consider the appropriate enforcement action to take for his decision to store the waste on the public right of way.
