Drain blocked and water continuously coming OUT from drain and flowing down the road

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5827251.

Drain is blocked underground going down the Heyford road hill towards Heyford bridge, and water is flowing OUT from the drain onto the road, down the hill and into another drain further down the hill. This is a constant stream of water on the road.

  • It's actually a little bit further down the hill than the pin shows, and on the right hand side of the road as you go down and around the corner.

  • The drain on the other side of the road is now also blocked, so there are two streams of water running down this road continuously.

  • The stream of water on the West side of the road (furthest from the river) has now created a hole in the tarmac. Over time this is going to grow and now need a road repair as well. Please can these drain blockages been prioritised before they cause more road damage
