Long term drainage problems making play area unusable and unsafe

There are long term drainage problems around the play area. The surface used drains poorly and has been filled with stagnant muddy puddles which are very slippery for the entire winter. The water just doesn’t drain making it slippery and unsafe. My child has slipped every time we have visited the park recently despite being careful and avoiding the worst areas. It makes this play area unusable. It needs resurfacing to the eco bark type surface used elsewhere as this matting just doesn’t work and us unsafe. This is our local park and has been unusable for the winter. It has been like this for years. I reported it a few years ago after falling and injuring my back resulting in two weeks of pain. It’s only a matter of time before someone really hurts themselves.

The multi unit needs to be washed once the ground is firm enough to drive over. With the wet weather we have at the moment, we cannot actually reach the unit.
