Bus Layby markings need extending

The forward markings on the bus lay-by on Worsley Road end before the end of the lay-by. Vehicles are now regularly parking in this spot but because it isn't that big they protrude into the carriageway at an angle which then requires the bus to pull out across the centre of the road to pass them. Tjus is not always possible due to lawfully parked vehicles on the opposite side of the road and so the bus has to stop in the carriageway to pick up and drop off passengers as it cannot get out again. Could the front markings be altered to cover the entire front end of the bus lay-by please. An extension to the rear would also be helpful but I suspect that's asking too much.
