  • The gully covers are completely embedded and could not be released by the drainage contractors - they will have to be freed by the Highways department who do this type of work in bulk orders so it will take longer than usual to resolve. The drainage contractors will return once the covers have been freed.

  • Thanks for your patience with this issue, the stuck covers have been released and we are working with the contractors to get the gullies cleaned as soon as it can be arranged.

Posted by Bromley Council at 13:58, Tue 15 October 2024

  • The contractors are aware that the gullies have not been cleaned - Traffic Management is required to complete the job and to make it cost effective, it will be done when the Biggin Hill ward has its cyclical gully cleanse in February.

This report will now be closed.
