No signage at path junction (Beetley FP 2 and FP 3)

There is no signage, where Beetley FP 3 joins Beetley FP 2. In the absence of signage at this location, the correct whereabouts - or even the existence - of either of the public paths is far from clear to anyone unfamiliar with the locality. The Norfolk County Council are duty-bound to erect signage where needed to assist such persons. DEFRA Rights of Way Circular 1/09 (at para. 2.11) admonishes local authorities as to the importance of ensuring "that members of the public are provided with sufficient information, by means of appropriate signs or notices, particularly at path junctions.." N.B. Norfolk County Council, s.27(1) of the Countryside Act 1968 gives you the power to erect a signpost here. S.27(4) gives you the duty to do so - there is a clear need for one here.
