No signage, at path junction (Brisley FP 14 and 15)

Reported via desktop in the Footpaths/ Rights of way (usually not tarmac) category anonymously at 18:14, Fri 5 April 2024

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5813389.

There is no signage, where Brisley FP 15 joins Brisley FP 14. In the absence of signage at this location, the correct whereabouts - or even the existence - of the public paths is far from clear to anyone unfamiliar with the locality. The Norfolk County Council are duty-bound to erect signage where needed to assist such persons. DEFRA Circular (at para. 2.11) admonishes local authorities as to the importance of ensuring "that members of the public are provided with sufficient information, by means of appropriate signs or notices, particularly at path junctions.."
