Reported via desktop in the Other Road Issues category by Sandy Lane Neighbourhood Watch at 13:03, Wednesday 3 April 2024
Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5800941.
In the centre of Sandy Lane, by the Coop entrance we have, once again a sinking road - HCC Contractors have repaired this before but as always due to poor standards it is collapsing again making cars "bounce".

Finally it would seem Hampshire County Council and Thames Water will be working together to try and identify why this part of Sandy Lane keeps sinking. Residents know of course for it is in the name! Work is scheduled for one day 9 June 2024 for a detailed inspection underground - the Lane will be closed at this point.
