Cars / buses travelling in the wrong direction
Reported via desktop in the General road marking and stud issues category anonymously at 22:42, Mon 1 April 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5792809.
Yesterday a coach coming out of the car park at the end of Westgate Street turned right instead of left, travelling into oncoming traffic. He continued into the traffic and turned his coach around to travel down A43 towards the quayside. This is not an isolated incident, this happens regularly with traffic even travelling into the oncoming traffic on Royal Oak Road. More signage is required before someone has a very serious accident, possibly killed, in this area. No one expects a vehicle to be travelling towards you.
