Tree still not been addressed

Reported via desktop in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 10:18, Mon 1 April 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5789803.

In July 2023 a request was put in for the tree at the rear of my property to be pollarded. ref: 4647497. You keep closing the request and not addressing the issue. It is nearly 8 years since you last addressed the tree which is meant to pollarded biannually. Please can you sort this as a matter or urgency as cracks are reappearing in my house.

  • Our contractor has reported to us that they completed this work and therefore the enquiry was closed. Upon inspection, the LBB Tree Officer has found that works were not undertaken and has requested the contractor return to the site to undertake the works as required. Unfortunately, we cannot give a time scale hen they will attend. Please note that the agreed works are to reduce the crown by no more than 30%, the works are not to pollard the tree. Thank you for your continued patience.
