Several large and deep potholes in unavoidable places on the road

Several of the potholes are deeper than a tennis ball and wider than a dinnerplate. On the road near the bus stop where two lanes merge, on and after the junction- I have witnessed 2 near misses over the last 3 months here of people trying to avoid the potholes. I could not avoid the deepest pothole, the road hit my exhaust causing it to fall off. I had to pay for the bracket to be re-welded on the same day- the pothole damaged my car in a way that it was unsafe to drive until the problem was fixed.
