Deep pothole at ‘village gateway’

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5781793.

Very deep pot hole at the place in left lane going towards village, where the road narrows slightly with the ‘village gateway’ traffic calming. Because the road there has been narrowed, if something is passing from the other way at same time, you have no choice but to drive into the deep, car damaging pothole. The hole is right at the kerb edge but as I mentioned above, there is little room to manoeuvre out the way of it if you’re passing other traffic.
