Plant grown through pavement needs removing and pavement repair

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5781140.
This bush has been allowed to grow through the pavement for a number of years. concrete has be put around the root but this has made access passed it hard.
Brush needs completely removing. It obstructs Susan wood road sign for traffic. Pavement concrete around in it needs improving to provide people to pass easily.

Thank you for your report regarding this issue. Bromley are aware of the significant volume of works raised and outstanding with our contractor and we are continuing to monitor and liaise with them over this outstanding schedule of works. Our Officers are not able to give precise timeframes to individual jobs at this moment but are continuing to undertake regular safety inspections and check any reported issues. We will continue to work with our contractor to ensure that all outstanding jobs are addressed as quickly as they are able.

Still not fixed delivery’s and public can’t see sign for Susan wood and this is causing structural issues to the pavement it should of been removed years ago

Why are we paying council tax if it takes years to cut things and maintain roads for the safety of people.

This hasn’t been fixed the council contractors only put more tarmac on small patch onto of tarmac that’s already destroyed. Thames water are coming to dig up pavement soon anyway.
But nothing has been done about the bush which is causing the problem and has grown under the pavement stop sending cowboys and send a professional.

No action has been taken please come and look properly the bush is still there and still growing under pavement this is very intrusive species like Japanese knot weed.

Thank you for your enquiry. A team attended to try and look at this bush in question however due to Thames Water commencing works on site we were unable to locate any potential Japanese knotweed or shrub which is causing an issue.
