6+ potholes causing noise problems

Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category by George Bowyer at 11:18, Mon 25 March 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5762420.

This row of three sets of potholes on a major bus route have been reported previously and since then road maintenance have attended to pot hole issues less than 20 ft away including closing the road that is an issue. insane that these potholes were not covered at the same time given the whole road was closed!

Due to busses passing over these early in the morning and well past midnight, they are causing an issue in my building. I am one floor up but when the busses go over these is vibrates my whole property. Mirrors windows and closed doors literally rattle multiple times a night. this is entirely due to poor workmanship when the road was resurfaced this winter. Please Please Please prioritize this to be fixed ASAP Will reach out to my local councilor as this was raised over a month ago.

  • A contractor inspected the street and missed some very deep potholes. he said they weren't deep enough but when I requested he measure them he claimed he couldn't as it was too wet !?!?!? This has now been left so long that the white marks added to highlight the holes have been worn away. please reinspect and prioritize. This is a very heavy traffic area in terms of the number of cars and the noise of heavy vehicles. it is causing an awful amount of noise for residents.
