Potholes, Hawkshaw

Following the recent cold weather and gritting operations the road surface in Hawkshaw has deteriorated.

There is now a chain of potholes that are small but getting larger each day from Walves Bridge (Red Lion Pub) to Two Brooks Lane in the Ramsbottom side of the Road.

Loose aggregate from these hoses is now being thrown around by passing vehicles.

Hit Very deep pothole A676 Ramsbotton Road Hawkshaw 23th April 2025. Another motorist stopped & said the pothole had been reported numerous times but the council had not done anthing, not even marked it!
