Northbound lights between A34, Bollington Lane and Eagles Road
Reported via mobile in the Permanent Traffic Lights category anonymously at 10:56, Mon 25 March 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5762265.
When turning right from the A34 on to Eagles road, opposite direction traffic is obscured from view by vehicles turning right on to Bollington Lane. This means it is very difficult to ensure it is safe to turn, especially if there are high sided vehicles queued at the lights. There is no filter signal for this turn which could lead to a very dangerous condition where vehicles are turning right on to Eagles Road unsighted with a high potential for a collision. This may not have been a common issue preciously as the number of dwellings on Eagles road was relatively low, however this number has increased considerably and will continue to do so as development of this site continues.
