Disconnected sewage pipe

Reported via mobile anonymously at 09:28, Sun 24 March 2024

Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5758267.

In the tunnel underneath the shops (cycle route 62) at the junction of the A59/A506 a sewage pipe is disconnected and there appears to be raw sewage dripping onto the path. The pipe is located at the end of the tunnel nearest the Northern Rail bridge and Montgomery Road. I observed fluid leaking out of a hole in this same pipe one day last week (18th - 22nd March).

Updates

  • The soil pipe is now back on it's brackets but it is still disconnected with the result that used toilet paper is ending up on the path beneath it and also hanging from some wire netting surrounding it.
