Verge not maintained
Reported via mobile anonymously at 06:52, Thursday 21 March 2024
Sent to Leicester City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5746010.
The local authority managed grass verge has tree branches left on there for a number of months from when trees have been trimmed by the local authority. Also the tarmacadam area of the verge is prone to flooding as it extremely uneven. I would respectfully request that the branches are cleared away as they are unsightly aswell as being a possible nesting site for vermin. Secondo would like that Highways or whomever maintains the verges contacts the homeowner at 417 Uppingham Road to discuss the renovation of the tarmacadam area as this leads to a private driveway.

Still hasn't been attended too. As the weather gets drier us a potential target for arsonists. I'm very disappointed in the council as it has been months and months and the daffodils could not bloom properly. Also the general state of the verge is very poorly maintained and allows pools of water, is uneven and a potential trip hazard.

Still branches haven't been cleared away. Received an email over a month ago from the council as if action was to take place but nothing resolved. Highly disappointing. Please see attached pictures of current state.
