Ankers Knowl lane where meets footpath MF14 (Rainow Parish Map) and entrance to Lower Ballgreave farm

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 16:26, Tue 19 March 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5738513.

This is not a pothole, but instead a complete erosion of the road stretching quite a distance and half way through the road. I see a report was made of a pothole in 2021, and has not been resolved. This is now a completely degraded road and should be fixed as soon as possible. It is a dangerous, loose and fast deteriorating road surface. Water flows through it and is making it's own river path, with fast flowing water at any time could destabilize the entire road.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
