Surface unsafe for horses
Reported via desktop in the Gate - Damaged/ Missing category by Northamptonshire Highways at 13:56, Tue 19 March 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

This new gate was fitted some weeks ago now, the others are great, footing was not great on this gate due to the amount of fresh dirt, it has very quickly became very wet and dirty and someone has put huge stone / boulders all throughout the gate way making it very dangerous for horses to get over. When taking these photos I’ve had to use the other dangerous unbalanced gate because on using the new gate the other way, when trying to encourage my horse to walk over the sharp stones, he lept over them and caught my foot in the gate!! Whoever has dumped these large stones is very inconsiderate!! Mud is a pain but not dangerous like these stones! Users by foot could have easily used the other gate to avoid the mud!
