Incorrect / inaccurate lane markings on roundabout approach

Reported via iOS in the General road marking and stud issues category by Tarun P at 13:22, Tuesday 19 March 2024

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5737283.

The southbound approach to the Swindon / Bristol Road roundabout implies the left two lanes are for going straight and only the right hand lane is for turning right. However, this round about has two exits to the right (one heading towards Tesco and one towards Watermoor Way. In fact, if you use the right-most lane and stick to it you cannot exit for Tesco. The middle lane, however, gives you the option of exiting both. But the lane markings are incorrect as the middle lane suggests you are only supposed to go straight.
