Resurfacing drainage

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 16:07, Sunday 17 March 2024

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5726468.

After works carried out the resurfacing is allowing for large deep puddles to form along the edge of the sidewalk on the road. This is allowing for large puddles to form in wet weather, then sprayed all over the pavement by vehicles utilising the bus lane. For a council that is wanting to stop cars, allowing pedestrians to be soaked by poor resurfacing standards is not the right approach.
