Light OOO outside Ocean Falls Solsbury Way. 007 cns

Reported on 5607407 & 570444. This light was working until the builders left after completing the houses. Sulis View & Minerva Lodge.Today someone has marked the pavement from the light outside White Gables on pass Fairmead to the light which is OOO. Can I suggest the electric people start work at the faulty light end rather than digging the good pavement all along from White Gables. It's obvious to us and our neighbours that the cable has been damaged when the building work was taking place. I hope you find this useful and pass the info to the Power people. It could save them time and money. Thanks

  • You have obviously passed the street light OOO to Western Power and I thought you may like an update. Western power has visited the site and were told the cable was cut and taken away when the drop kerb was done. It was fully explained to the Power guy. Even a photo of the location and cut cable was shown, but he ignored our requests to just replace the missing bit and has elected to dig from the lamp post o/s Ocean Falls all the way to the next lamp o/s White Gables. I thought you would be interested as I guess the Council will be footing this bill ( and eventually us) which will at least double the price of just doing a repair on the new drop kerb section. Or why not get the drop kerb company or person who built the new homes to pay.

  • Further to the installation of new column 007 we can confirm that National Grid are due to attend and connect the supply to the new column and this has been planned by them for September. The afternoon of Tuesday 10th.
