Dames Road, between Lake House Rd and Sidney Rd, several incredibly deep and dangerous pot holes.

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category by Tony Ash at 11:44, Thursday 14 March 2024

Sent to Waltham Forest Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5711820.

If I had cycled over any of them, I would have come off my bike. These need to be sorted as a matter of urgency. This problem has now persisted for several months.

Updates

  • The acknowledgement email from the council to my report of the problem said I could enquire further if I heard nothing after 5 days. I heard nothing yet I found it impossible to navigate their website to chase the report up. I felt it was designed to do this. I cycle past the area regularly and it is still very dangerous for cyclists.
