Verge damage by Articulated HGV at junction of School Lane and Stamford Road Weldon
Reported via desktop in the Verges - Damaged by Vehicles category anonymously at 10:21, Tue 12 March 2024
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5700163.
HGVs guided by Sat Nav are regularly attempting to travel along School Lane towards Oundle Road. When they realise that School Lane is too narrow and unsuitable for HGVs they reverse out of School Lane backing on to Stamford Road and damage the verge. This problem has occurred 3 time in the last 4 months. The latest damage shown on the photos took place at 00.11 hrs on 06.03.24. I have video footage of the incident.
