Verge damage by Articulated HGV at junction of School Lane and Stamford Road Weldon

HGVs guided by Sat Nav are regularly attempting to travel along School Lane towards Oundle Road. When they realise that School Lane is too narrow and unsuitable for HGVs they reverse out of School Lane backing on to Stamford Road and damage the verge. This problem has occurred 3 time in the last 4 months. The latest damage shown on the photos took place at 00.11 hrs on 06.03.24. I have video footage of the incident.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - We have raised a works order to repair the defects that you have reported. These works will be undertaken within the next 6 months. On most occasions we are repairing defects of this nature sooner than this target date, however please do not hesitate to contact us should the defects worsen so that our team can carry out a further assessment.
