Footpath between school & cricket club

Reported via mobile in the Footway category anonymously at 09:22, Tue 12 March 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5699882.

How are we meant to pass this every time it rains to get to nursery & school?! It’s absolutely ridiculous my last complaint was rejected saying there was no issue, it’s deep enough regularly that it would go over my child’s wellington boots and there is no way to avoid the path without a very long detour. The issues been ongoing for very many years. No excuses for children arriving to school with wet feet because they’ve been good enough to walk every day. & the mud that builds up afterwards, very dangerous, especially for the many elderly that use this route to get to the shops.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
