Road flooded by pedestrian crossing

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 17:26, Wed 14 January 2015

Sent to Southampton City Council 4 minutes later

Every time it rains the road beside the pedestrian crossing point across Ocean Way floods. Waiting to cross invariably results in a soaking as inconsiderate drivers speed through the puddle.

  • This is still a problem. It's a massive puddle which drivers love to race through, soaking people waiting to cross the road.

  • Absolutely nil progress on this item. Every time we get a significant rainfall this section of the road floods, and pedestrians on the island and on the kerb get soaked by passing vehicles.
