A significant hole

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5690675.

This hole opened up at least a month ago. It is roughly in the middle of the road. I met a car coming the other way yesterday and both of us had to drive on the verge to pass.

The wheel in the picture is about 31 inches in diameter and about 9 inches wide. I have used it as a comparison to show the size of the hole. Another driver lost a wheel and tyre last night, Friday 15th March. It is not good enough to say there is action. This hole has the potential to kill a cyclist.
