Dangerous state of whole road

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 14:25, Thursday 7 March 2024

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5681895.

Please can something be done to fix this road! The whole stretch of this road from Sammy Miller museum to the junction with the A35 is so so dangerous. There are so many potholes and in places the edge of the road is crumbling away, leaving drivers no choice but to drive down the middle of the road, which is very dangerous given the number of blind corners on this stretch of road. It is a busy road frequently used by all types of vehicle and there have been so many cases of damaged cars already. Local residents are concerned about cyclists being injured or worse due to the state of the road. The potholes etc have been there for at least six months now and only very small temporary repairs have been carried out. We are desperate for a more permanent fix please!
