Metal spike sticking up out of the ground

Reported via mobile in the Pothole/Trip hazard category anonymously at 07:34, Thursday 7 March 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5679505.

There is a metal spike sticking up out of the ground at the top of a small slippy path which leads out of the woods onto the open green space at Blaise castle. It looks like a very old gate stop or something. It could cause a very severe injury if someone trips and falls on it. It’s obviously been there a long time and the ground around it has now eroded making it exposed & very dangerous.
