3" deep pothole in nearside, newport bound carriageway

Sent to Newport Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5671904.

There is a 3" deep pothole in lane 1 and a large pothole in lane 2, both newport bound. I reported same around 6 months ago. A real danger to traffic at night particularly motorcyclists

  • It is only a matter of time before a cyclist or motorcyclist is killed or seriously injured. All roads in Gwent are absolutely appalling

  • This pothole is very dangerous and has been there for a few weeks. It requires that drivers move over the double white lines onto the other side of the road which is an overtaking lane. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible, especially considering it is a 50mph road. The large pothole is located near ///hippy.enrolling.pounces using What3words.com on the lane going westbound.
