Cars, vans and motorhomes parking on footpaths

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 18:39, Monday 4 March 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5667787.

All over The Counties estate cars, trucks, vans, motorhomes and even caravans are parking on and blocking footpaths so that wheelchairs, mobility scooters, prams and people with disabilities are unable to pass the vehicle obstructing the footpath (the clue is in the name FOOTpath) and then wheelchairs, mobility scooters, prams and people with disabilities must step into the traffic (if in fact they can cross the verge in the first place?) which is dangerous for the user and inconsiderate of the drivers. Sadly this is a problem all over the estate that is repeated way too frequently...
