Corner of park road Nantwich and Audlem road

Reported via mobile in the Carriageway category anonymously at 14:27, Mon 4 March 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5666178.

School children and people wanting to cross the road at top of Park Road, coming from Brine Leas direction and crossing towards Wellington Road direction. This is extremely dangerous as lorries swing round that corner and have no chance of seeing a pedestrian crossing this junction. There have been lots of near misses. As lorry drivers and tractors sit in a high position it’s even harder. There is no sign before this bend to vehicles to drive slowly and look out for pedestrians crossing!

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
