Vehicles parking on double yellow lines

Sent to Halton Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5662731.

On Hale road coming up towards the traffic lights opposite Dundalk road. There are vehicles parking on broken double yellow lines. These vehicles park right up to the lights which is causing problems with traffic not being able to get through the lights when on green and traffic turning right into Dundalk Road. Problem has been for a very long time now and nothing being done to enforce the issue. Peak times in the morning are a problem.

  • No Halton borough council enforcement officers in this area and the police don’t seem to be bothered by it. So it seems OK to park on double yellow lines where there are traffic lights. Then who is in charge here!!
