Dear Bromley Council, I am writing to follow up on a maintenance issue regarding the potholes initially reported in March 2024. Despite multiple reports, the status of the issue has been repeatedly marked as "closed," see email below; yet the potholes remain unfixed. In fact, the situation has worsened, with the potholes now having doubled in diameter. This has made the area extremely unsafe and out of alignment with the surface, which is registered as a Bridleway. As it is Bromley Council's responsibility to maintain and ensure the safety of this pathway, which is used by pedestrians, cars and horses I kindly request clarification on how this matter will be resolved. Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could provide a reference number for this issue so I can track its progress effectively as it is currently tracked as closed on the website. Given the weather at winter this should be prioritised ASAP to prevent injury as it's not safe as shown in the photos uploaded to fix my street report. I look forward to your prompt response.
