Bin lorry can’t access due to parking restrictions

Our bins weren’t emptied this week due to the lorry not being able to access. Often the bin lorry parks up and the bin men often have to come and get the bins to take them to the lorry. I often worry that emergency vehicles would not be able to get through. Some years ago a parking on the verge restriction was put in place. Before then, we had none of these issues. I believe the verge restrictions were put in place following a complaint from someone who no longer lives on the street. I’d like to propose a removal of these restrictions so that people can park on the verges again. This would allow bin Lorries and emergency vehicles to access. I have spoken to some of my immediate neighbours who are supportive.
