Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5644746.
The car has been there for 5 months and is parked on a public footpath! It is also parked blocking sight of any cars coming out of the side road causing issues and pulling out on cars. All we hear is beeping most days where cars cannot get out of a public road!
My concern is you have responded back to me saying there is nothing you can do? So are you saying it is legal to park on a pathway? You also state that an abandoned is a car that has flat tyres…. Well this does!! It hasn’t moved in a month…. This hasn’t moved in 5 months!! Im shocked by your statement this is acceptable! If we cannot resolve this issues I will need to contact the local PM and the bath and north east Somerset council as you clearly state this in your guidelines but are not adhering to them.
This is a safety hazard!! It blocking line of sight!! Causing endless beeping by cars!! Has a flat tyre!! Has scratches all down one side… hasn’t moved in 5 months!! Come on how can you really argue with this?!
I’m disappointed to hear you feel this is acceptable and it is more worrying infact.
Please get this car moved or there will be a fatality coming out of the side road! My son nearly got hit last weekend! Please respond as a matter of urgency. The amount of council tax I pay each month is for this reason….. we as residents do not want this dumped there for nearly half a year.
If you feel nothing can be done please send me a contact number of the Manager within your department!
Nice to know you are helping out the community.
You have closed this issue down before which shocks me, please deal with it. Thanks
