Insufficient drainage - pedestrians becoming sodden (still)

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 15:06, Tuesday 27 February 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5639501.

Time and time again during wet weather, rain water pools in large quantities along the road predominantly from the junction of Kemps Road to the traffic lights outside Christopher Rawlins Primary School. Without exception pedestrians are soaked through by vehicles travelling through the pooling water. Myself and my children have had every item of clothing drenched through to the skin, as have many others. This is a stretch of walkway with a high footfall due to the proximity of the school. This issue was raised last year and it's still unresolved.
