3 potholes on New Yatt Road

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 13:23, Tuesday 27 February 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5638809.

The truck doing patches was here a couple of days ago and spend a half-day filling in three long-standing potholes. The result is very poor! Surface still uneven, rough and stony. Not sure this is a satisfactory way to deal with potholes.

Council ref: ENQ24994425

  • I watched the team doing this work and can tell you it is a complete and utter waste of public money. The repairs are inadequate and ineffective. This type of damage to our road surfaces needs to be repaired properly. Sticking plasters are just not working and are a poor use of the highways budget.
